Editor-in-Chief of Women's Health Issues. Dr. Vyas, an Associate Professor of Prevention and Community Health at the George
Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health, was previously an
Associate Editor for the journal. Dr. Vyas is an award-winning teacher and her research
focuses on the health and well-being of women and adolescents, including teen pregnancy
prevention; social media use and health; gender-based violence; family planning; and
the evaluation of interventions and programs in the United States and globally.
