Gibbs prize announcement

        The Editorial Board of Women’s Health Issues is pleased to announce that the Charles E. Gibbs Leadership Prize for the best paper published in Women’s Health Issues in 2003 has been awarded to Sherry L. Grace, PhD of the University Health Network Women’s Health Program in Toronto, Canada.
        Her manuscript, “Presentation, Delay, and Contraindiction to Thrombolytic Treatment in Females and Males with Myocardial Infarction,” was published in Women’s Health Issues Volume 13, Issue 6 (November/December 2003), pages 214–221. Her co-authors are Susan E. Abbey, MD, FRCPC; Susan Bisaillon, RN, MScN; Zachary M. Shnek, PhD; Jane Irvine, PhD; and Donna E. Stewart, MD, FRCPC.
        The Charles E. Gibbs Leadership Prize is awarded annually to recognize the best paper reporting new research findings. Members of the Editorial Board of Women’s Health Issues are not eligible. The prize includes a $1,000 award.
